At 10 years old, Connor Berryhill's parents have already dubbed him the microactivist for his efforts to save animals by cleaning waters and shores. He started his activism, creating big results with his small actions, at just 5 years old! Being an activist can be as simple as picking up garbage or refusing to buy balloons.
Connor's action began as an effort to save the Hawaiian monk seal and have since grown into a passion. His beach cleanups have given other kids fun trash pickup challenges, while leading to over 8,000 pounds of garbage collected!
Connor has gained well-deserved recognition for his efforts and continues to do what others once believed to be impossible.
